| For the next day or so the headlines for the upcoming shows over on the left side of every page might be a bit buggy. I'm currently building a version of Coranto (the same utility that now runs our news pages) to run the upcoming shows page and I am forced to use a test version in order for the program to upload maps and other handy features which the official release dosen't do. Because of this, the thing is a bit screwy and likes to mess up the show headlines. The upcoming show page works correctly and the regular link on the main menu still works so you should have no problem getting info for the show this Saturday. So like Jeff said, there are NO EXCUSES for not showing up! Not even me screwing up the site! ....this time. ;) | |||

| Saturday Night at J.P. Shortstops | |||
| Thanks to everyone that came out to the 602 North show this weekend. We had a great time and seeing everyone there made it an even better time. From what we heard, our fans really dug the venue, so we will try and get some more shows there. Speaking of shows.... We are in Chicago Ridge this Saturday Night August 2nd at J.P. Shortstops. We are on around 10:30pm. Hope to see all our fans out since this is a show so close to home for all the "Southsiders" NO EXCUSES!! ;) See you all there. | |||

| Knockhopper News | |||
| Hey all once again, hope everyone is having a great summer so far. Knockhopper has a few shows lined up in the next few weeks and we hope you can come out and join us. The next show is at 602 North on Saturday July 26th at 10pm. Rumor has it that this venue has awesome sound so we are really excited to play there. One week later on Saturday August 2nd we will be in Chicago Ridge at J.P. Shortstops. We are on after 10pm once again. This is close to home so we hope to have a good showing. And just added, we will be returning to O'Malley's in Alsip. We are playing on Thursday night August 28th. We are on around 10:30pm. We should also have our "Knockhopper Store" up in the next few weeks where you can purchase shirts, cd's, stickers and anything else we can put our name on. Stay tuned.... |

| New News...Sorta | |||
| This post is a test of the new news system I've set up for this page. You shouldn't notice a difference from the old set up to this one but there is a big difference for us. In the old format we would have to do everything manually. From archiving old stories to creating and shuffling the headlines down to inserting the date and time, the news updates were all done by hand. Now we all have the ability to just log into the site and just type a headline and story, then click a button. Everything is generated automatically; headlines, archives and all! The workload should start to become more managable so expect to see updates from ALL the members of "Knockhopper Inc." and the site to become more alive again. | |||
